Job offering?

So a couple of weeks back, this guy from New York told me if I could do a model of a LEGO soldier for him... and asked how much would I charge.... I said I could do it for free since I would probably enjoy doing it... Later that day he sent me an e-mail;

"We arent going to use it after all, not for the cover inserts but would you be interested in doing something for the announcement? I dont know how fast you can pop these things out in different poses and what not so I need to know if you could do a series of pictures for a comic strip?"

Unfortunately I had to reject the job offer, not because I didn't want to do it, but because I needed a special program called After Effects....

What the LEGO Group says...

I've asked one of the people working for LEGO how they all work together at making such great stuff, and here is what he said...

"The LEGO Group is made up of around 9,000 employees, organized into five separate Business Areas. Collaborating closely, we bring products through our value-chain to the minds, hands and hearts of children around the world. From initial idea to manufacturing and retail, people with all kinds of profiles and backgrounds add value - every LEGO product is a joint effort of thousands of colleagues worldwide."

Trying out the New Model

Since I made the new model to show the decals with, some of the "Hair pieces" don't quite mach up with the model... So that means that I have to recreate every single thing I made for every single one... which is good since that means I could fix them up too... So here a some that I could easily recreate since the Hair is more difficult for me to make that the whole minifigure with the decals... So here they are!

You can see the early versions in my Flickr page at

Minifigure Model Fixed

I've worked with the Decals with this model I made... Days had passed and I always told myself I needed to make the model more "realistic" so here it is!

Now it looks more like a LEGO minifigure
